  • The City of Tallmadge has partnered with Dynegy (formerly Energy Harbor) for electric aggregation.

    The contract rate with Dynegy is 8.63 cents/kWh from May 2025 (June 2025 billing) through May 2026 (June 2026 billing).

    There is no early termination fee and you may enroll at any time.

    If you have any questions or would like to opt in, please call Dynegy (formerly Energy Harbor) at 888-682-2170.

    Ohio Edison manages all account information. To ensure you receive future notices, please keep your mailing address up to date by calling 800-633-4766.

  • The City of Tallmadge has partnered with Eastern Power & Gas for gas aggregation.

    Beginning in May 2025, residents and small businesses in the Tallmadge Natural Gas Aggregation Program with Eastern Power and Gas transitioned to a variable rate that is $0.05 per Mcf lower than the monthly Standard Choice Offer rate. This rate will remain in effect through March 2026. The current SCO rate can be found at Energy Choice Ohio.

    There is no early termination fee and you may enroll at any time.

  • As of July 1, 2025, Rumpke provides waste & recycling services for the City of Tallmadge. Visit rumpke.com for more information.

    Contact Rumpke at 1-800-828-8171 to arrange for the service that meets your needs or to request a trash or recycle can.

  • The City of Tallmadge does not accept brush, tree limbs, or other debris. Residents may be able to utilize Rumpke for yard waste collection; however, it is recommended to contact Rumpke directly to learn about their specific services and guidelines.

  • Yes, coyotes are common in Ohio, both in rural and urban settings. It is important to remove "attractants" from yards to deter coyotes from returning to the yard. If there is a further issue with a coyote after removing attractants, you can locate the nearest trapper by calling the Division of Wildlife at 1-800-WILDLIFE (945-3543). For further information:
